Hahaha... I feel like I've abused Conan enough lately with Alec coming back from the dead, the poor baby.

Lin is going to acquire a partner in crime-fighting this month! Probably an NPC but if anyone is actually interested in the job, let me know. Police officers should have partners, it's just a thing.

Shirley, being a young thing, is not quite as skilled in a lot of areas as book!Holmes was. But she practices, see - hence all of the rappelling out of windows and picking strangers' pockets and other things that she seems to do for absolutely no reason. The one thing she hasn't done yet is throw on makeup and a wig and introduce herself as someone else.

... Which is exactly what she intends to do this month! She's just going to pick a few random newbies and introduce herself to them in disguise as a persona she made up. Of course, she'll still be running around as herself, but she's going to do her damndest to actually cultivate CR with these poor, innocent new people as someone else.

The only person in on it is going to be Jane, who will be tasked with coming up with alibis for her and possibly also pretending to know these fictional people. And who will probably make her come clean about it if it goes on too long without anyone figuring it out. Which people are totally welcome to do!

So, yeah. Shenanigans.
