POCKET CANON ADVENTURE TIME!
One of the fun things about Widdershins is the ability to stumble inadvertently into worlds that look like other canons and play out your craziest crossover fantasies. It would not be a proper trial month if we didn't do a test PC adventure.
Essentially, one of the characters will rally any other interested characters into trying to find an exit, and the group will stumble into a pre-determined pocket canon. From there, you can go wild -- have logs where your individual characters interact with pocket canon NPCs, perhaps, or just react to the environment with other player characters.
Have you always wanted to play a chain-smoking cursing member of the Lolipop Guild, but thought it was too ridiculous even fordear_mun? Make him a pocket canon NPC and throw him at a player character.
Always thought it would be hilarious to troll Neville Longbottom with your character? Find someone willing to play him just for this log and have at it!
And while our characters are going in as a group, you can return to Burby at any point within a week game-time. (Of course, months could pass in the pocket canon!)
For this trial run, we're looking at three possibilities:
Jurassic Park
The Wizard of Oz
Harry Potter
Comment here with which one you prefer, and in true democratic style, the most popular will win.
We're also for a volunteer to lead the other characters into this madness. Whether you play out having your character talk other people into it, or everyone just hand waves that your character did is up to y'all.
And for the record, you absolutely do not have to participate in this if you don't want to or if it doesn't seem like the kind of thing your character would do.
