Hey everyone, sorry for the radio silence. I completely missed July's plotting post and I apologize for that.

Sorry about the lateness of this post, folks! Unfortunately there was a major storm this Friday and it blew out my network card and modem. But now I am back, and nothing has even exploded in my absence!

Hey everybody! This is your lovely mod Dove and I thought it would be a good idea to take on some input as we lose our beloved mod Katie.

First things first, I'm waiving A/C this month. What I would like from you is a comment to this post! You don't have to offer any awesome suggestions (although I'd love to see them) or write a novel about game changes. Just leave me a comment! I will be cleaning up the taken list some time in the next couple of weeks, so keep that in mind. Please comment by June 9 or I will be chasing you down and biting you hard (ooooooor just asking if you still want to play).

Speaking of playing, I've noticed that we don't seem to have a lot of people around here still. That doesn't worry me too much because this has always been a small game. But I do want to ask - do you still want to keep going? Personally I love this game and I will be here until the bar closes. But if I'm the only one here, the bar is closing.

Other things currently of note: if we do want to stay open, I would like to advertise! A bit of fresh blood is a great idea. So - tell your friends, tell your lovers, tell that cute girl on the subway! I will also be posting an ad to App This Plz next round. I will make another post when it gets closer to the next ATP time period, so you can ask for specific characters in the ad.

At the moment I don't see a need for a second mod, but if we grow a bit I will probably ask for another volunteer. So keep that in mind as well.

Finally: do you have any questions for me? Any suggestions, comments? Ideas for future events? Throw 'em in here. My body is ready.

This post is also open to anyone who was here and might come back, or anyone who might want to play in the future! Your input is also totally welcome.

It is with an IRL :( and a sad heart that I say goodbye to this game. Luckily for me, I'm in another game with all of you. (And if I'm wrong, well, we should fix that.)

As of now, Dove is the One Mod to Rule Them All. (Will she share power? Will she summon ringwraiths to slaughter little hobbitses? Who knows?)

Try as I might, I can't make Charlie fit here. Everything unnerves her too much and I don't see her getting past that at all. If I ever figure out how to do so, you can bet your ass she'll be back.

Well, Widder, it's been an absolute delight playing with all of you, and it is with no small amount of disappointment in myself that I must write this, because you're all fabulous. Sadly, the game and I don't seem to quite click, so the time has come for me to send this young Ensign packing back to the Enterprise.

If anyone would like to keep backtagging any old threads with him, I'd be happy to. But going forward, you may assume The Boy has vanished.

Hey everyone! Tamzin here, player of Captain Janeway, bringing in someone from the total opposite end of the RP spectrum. Say hello to the Miki Aono of Fresh Pretty Cure! She's fourteen-years-old, a supermodel in training, and can ~secretly~ transform into a magical girl -- or Cure, as the franchise dubs them -- called Cure Berry, who packs way more power than the frills and pastel hues make it seem.

I tried her out during fourth wall and finally just caved to the urge to app her somewhere. Can't wait to get her started! ♥

Hello! Its Lel again bringing in another character. One from a fantasy series this time, who I think should fit very well into Burby.

Meet young Will Stanton from the Dark is Rising Sequence. He's a thirteen-year-old boy who lives in a small village in 1970s Buckinghamshire with his very, very large family. He likes singing in choir, going on long bike trips through the countryside to visit old churches, and reading about folklore and anthropology.

Only there's a catch. Will isn't quite human. He's an immortal magical being called an Old One of the Light. Also, he's Merlin's colleague and successor. He's best friends with Arthur's son, who also grew up in the modern day. He can walk through time and he has thousands of years of knowledge of magic inside his head.

Also, he is alone. Just a few weeks ago Will's kind won the last great battle against the Dark and all of them sailed away to Avalon. All of Will's human friends forgot everything about their adventures together. And Will? He was left behind. To watch and remember.

He's from London, has his own radio show, is engaged, has a cat and is just about all kinds of normal. Once upon a time he was flung into a musebox with a fantasy setting and had to deal with crazy shenanigans, so stepping into this bright and shiny game should be no different in his book of exasperation.

Hello! I'm Lel, and I'm bringing in an addition to your detective club.

Meet Conan Edogawa, from the very, very long-lasting series Detective Conan. He's an adorable seven-year-old detective from Beika City in Tokyo who runs into a statistically improbable number of cases. Locked room murders, coded dying messages, impossible thefts, phantom thieves, hijackings... Conan solves them all.

And Sherlock Holmes is his role model. Seriously, he can talk for hours about how amazing Holmes is.

...And he isn't actually seven, despite what he would like everyone to believe. His real name is Shinichi Kudo, and he is a well known teen detective. About a year ago he got in over his head on a case, and ended up being the unwilling test subject of an experimental untraceable poison. But instead of killing him it deaged him.

I look forward to getting him involved here! I am leloipa on plurk, if anyone wants to plot.

Hey guys! So we have an idea for a change in AC rules that will hopefully make your lives even easier (because we're just that awesome). ~~Actually, it's because Katie hates comment counting.~~

The new rule would be your character has to tag into 3 entries a month to make AC. At the end of the month, your modly creatures will click on your character's tag to make sure you've tagged into three entries, and that you didn't just comment once and then drop the thread. No more comment counting or thread linking required.

If everybody is cool with this change, it will be put into effect this month, so you will not have to make a comment for February AC.

Plot idea.

I got the idea from this thread. The minor spirits in Keldar's world are tiny thumbnail sized creatures of minor intelligence, like budgies. There are different kinds. Earth spirits look like globs of honey, water spirits look like blobs of water droplets, plant spirits are tiny green things etc.

They're attracted to magic and their natural elements. They also tend to get into everything. Sometimes this is useful: Fire spirits for lights, water spirits keep water clean. But sometimes it's annoying as all fuck, waking up - as mentioned in the thread- with earth spirits in your ear, air spirits blowing everything around.

So, I thought an infestation of the little buggers might be entertaining.
