Hi, everyone! Chi here! I know like almost all of you! :D So it's exciting to be in this game now fjdklasfjdskla hi.

I'm bringing in this person who is basically a modern-day AU of Sherlock Holmes if he were a young American lady and in college and possibly a lesbian. So not really at all like him on the surface but actually surprisingly similar in terms of important stuff like personality and whatever. Her name is Shirley and she will deduce things about you and then probably be adorable or sardonic or both at the same time. And solve mysteries, because that's what she exists for. Always.

So we were all talking on Plurk and we pretty much decided that there should be an expedition into Alec's scary forest. A ragtag band of wanderers: what could be better?

We're doing Coyote stuff this week mostly, I think, but maybe we can pull something together for next week? I was just going to make a post and say, go for it, but I thought maybe people would want to plan getting attacked by grues or something.

As those of you who've been following the Event calender may know, today is the start of a week-long event known as

WITH GOOD INTENTIONS

The full description is on the calender page, but essentially the character of The Coyote will be appearing in Burby this week, and striking up casual conversations with its citizens. This helpful creature will then be granted the character their ultimate wish - although he's not known for his accuracy.

This may be played out in several ways. The Coyote will be making his own post tomorrow for characters to interact with him. Alternately, if you would like the Coyote to interact with your character in a post of their own, or within their own journal/action post, drop us a line here!

You may also skip the initial meeting and simply play out the consequences of the bargain.

So go forth! Plan, ask questions, make deals with each other. And of course, HAVE FUN!

So I think it's pretty apparent to everyone that Data's not quite clicking for me here, unfortunately. Therefore, I will sadly (very sadly) be letting him go. (If anyone would like to play with him still, I do play him elsewhere - including my musebox, and I always might toss him on a meme or two.)

However, I myself won't be gone for very long, because I will definitely be apping someone else next round. It just seems he wasn't quite the right fit for the game, for me.

technobabbled]. Some... or... a lot of you know me already. Mostly from other games, because even though I had Robin Hood here briefly I have a slight problem in that I can only play characters from Misfits.

So, this is Simon Bellamy from the above show. He's awkward and geeky with the ability to turn invisible, and he wants to be your frand. He's slightly less creepy once you get to know him. Or at least once he starts getting friends. He's from 2x01, so at the very least he's kicked his habit of filming people without their knowledge. That's something, right?

Hello good and wonderful people!

Alec, being the show off that he is would like to bring some people home with him! Not quite like that. Here's a brief run down of the place. He's fairly capable of keeping people from noticing the weird.

They can go shopping.

They can get their futures read, possibly, by Alec's boy but they actually haven't committed to anything friend.

I'm sure there's other stuff.

They can meet one of the Fair Folk from Alec's side of things and hopefully not mention Tinkerbell.

Hello lovely widderites!

The time has some, the Walrus said (And many other Carroll references I could get into), to talk of many things. Such as:

A MAGICAL FAERY LAND EXPEDITION!

It has been suggested by a couple of players that they would like to have a chance to explore the landscape of Burby and the surrounding areas. So this is your chance! We will be looking for leaders and followers, so whether you think your character would be keen on the idea, or simply get dragged along, all are welcome.

Here are a few things to remember when planning:

1. The landscape of Burby is ever changing and growing, based on people's imaginations. Therefore, whatever terrain you would like your characters to come across is completely doable. It just might not be there again the next day.
2. If enough people believe in one location/building/landmark, it will become solid. This expedition would be a great time to add some new venues and destinations to the town! If you have an idea for a business or new location, please do add it to the locations page.

Once we have a solid plan, a log can go up this week for everyone to frolic within.

So come on in, throw out your ideas, ask me your questions, and let's get this going.

Hello good widderites!

First of all, I would like to thank all of your who stuck it out with us during our trial period. Katie and I are hard at work taking your feedback into account, and starting in September Widder will be getting its very own calender with events!

On top of game-wide events, we still actively encourage players to set up their own Pocket Cannon Plots. These can be entirely player-run and only need mod approval.

Two smaller events are also being planned for this month. As stated over on Alice's network post, The Rabbit Hole Hotel will be hosting a formal ball this coming Sunday, August the 19th. She's looking forward to seeing you!

On top of that, it was discussed in the feedback post that a few characters would like to helm an expedition around the landscape of Faery, and possibly write a guide. A plotting post will going up for this shortly for those who wish to participate, and should take place the last week of August.

As always, I am always available for questioning via plurk, email, or on widderchat. (Which is a cool place you should come hang out in, yo.

He's... special. He's familiar with Fairy and is part fairy himself. Um.

Alec is also knows that the mutliverse is fucking with him because he's met someone in charge of it and they told him so. He's visited various realities and so, if permission given he'd be familiar with the reality your characters come from. It's not a breaking the fourth wall for him so much as he's actually visited it, much like you would visit New York.

Erm. I should put up a permission post soon, I guess.
